Thai Desserts
Thai desserts is one of the cultural identity. It features the exquisiteness and elaboration in each process of the production since the selecting of ingredients, producing, and packaging. Because it took time consuming and needed more labor force, Thai ancients would like to make the dessert for the special occasions. For example, merit related event, marriage, guest reception.  The royal Thai desserts will be distinctive and more exquisite than local desserts such as Kanom krok, kanom tuay. The original ingredients of Thai desserts consists of 3 ingredients only which are flour, sugar, coconut milk.  In the era of King Rama 1, the textbook of Thai dessert were published at the first time.
