Siamese cat
“Wichianmat” or popularly known as the Siamese cat. “Wichianmat” means the Moon Diamond. In the Ayutthaya period, “Wichianmat” was deemed as the auspicious cat that brought prosperity and good fortune to its owner.  “Wichianmat” was quite famous abroad during the period of the King Rama 5th when the King bestowed a pair of “Wichianmat” to the British Ambassador.  The ambassador later sent the cat to join one of the competitions at the Crystal Palace London. The “Wichianmat” eventually received the winning award and the Siamese cat was notable since then. The outstanding aspects of “Wichianmat” consists of blue eyes, short and thick hair, the color of hair changes with time (cream color as kittens and ivory white color when grown up), soft brown spots appeared on both ears, four feet, sexual organ and tails, diamond-shaped face, big forehead, short nose, big ears, nimble, elegant, and loyal.
