Elephants on Thai fabric is the designed pattern that TUK TUK  integrated two identities of Thainess which are a pair of mother-child elephants and Thai fabric on the background. For Thai fabric, it was traced that the weaving was developed for domestic use since the ancient time for the special occasions such as merit event, marriage. In the time of King Rama 5, the Kings initially promoted the Thai silk. He supported the project on sericulture in order to produce the local unique designed pattern of Thai silk in each regions.  Thai Silk at present time has been flourished, especially with the kindness support from Her Majesty the Queen Sirikit, the Queen of King Rama 9. Thai fabric has been shifted into the export products making more income for the country and has influenced on the world fashion.
